So your custom Header/Footer/CSS is giving you trouble on your site and now you can't access the Branding module to fix it . . .
Dont worry! Just follow the instructions below to quickly fix your tenant in “rescue mode”. Please note, these instructions will work for tenant admins only. In addition, if you are not logged in and attempt rescue mode, OneCampus will force you to log in.
To rescue your Header/Footer/CSS
- Begin by adding ?rescue=true to the end of your site url. You can do this from any page within your tenant, however, if the page ends with "#/" you will need to first remove the #/ before adding ?rescue=true
For example: If the URL is https://dev.onecampus.com/publish#/, you would first remove the "#/" from the end of the URL and then replace it with "?rescue=true" so that it looks like this https://dev.onecampus.com/publish?rescue=true. - Next, click the Branding menu, then click on Header and Footer.
- Adjust your CSS to correct whatever issue(s) you were experiencing.
- Click the Save button at the bottom of the Header & Footer page.
- Finally, in order to see the changes you’ve made to your CSS, you will need to logout of OneCampus to exit rescue mode.
