Planning to use the same image (icon) for more than one task? Save time by uploading common images into the Shared Task Images folder.
Think of Images like the “title” users will see most prominently on a task. You can load a unique Image for each task or share Images between tasks. If you wish to load a unique Image for a task, you can do so when setting up that task (see Quick Guide for Tasks). Below are directions on how to load Images you plan to SHARE between tasks.
Create a Shared Image
- 1 To create a Shared Image, click the Task menu, then click Shared Task Images.
- Click the +New Image button (top right).
- Type the Image Name, and click +Upload Image.
- OneCampus will resize the original image for phone and tablet devices (high and low resolution).
- IMPORTANT: The desktop image must be exactly 153 x 153 pixels in a JPG or PNG format.
- Click “Save” and repeat to add additional images.
- To edit an image, click Edit to update.
- To delete an image, click the Delete button.
- If the image is currently being used on tasks, you will see a pop up message indicating where it's being used.
- From the pop up window, click the edit button next to the task to be taken to the task definition page where you can switch out the image.
- Do this for each task where the image is currently being used. Once the image has been removed from all of the tasks, you will be able to return to the Maintain Shared Tasks module and fully delete the image from your OneCampus instance.
- If the image is currently being used on tasks, you will see a pop up message indicating where it's being used.
